One-time reselection and timing
The Comfort Exchange policy allows a one-time reselection process under these guidelines.
Wait at least three weeks from the first night of use before contacting the store and the original salesperson who helped with your selection. This period allows time to adjust to the new mattress. Manufacturer-specific limits may affect how long a product may be kept before an exchange.
Stains, soil, smoke odor, and mattress protector
A mattress cannot be exchanged if it has stains, soil, or smoke odor.
A proper stain-resistant mattress protector is required for a comfort exchange. The protector is intended to prevent moisture or liquids from entering the mattress.
Sleepy Hollow may refuse a stained or soiled product without refunding the $99 comfort exchange fee.
Law tag requirement
The law tag at the head of the bed must remain attached. Removing the law tag voids the warranty and disqualifies the mattress from a comfort exchange.
In-store credit and reselection value
The Comfort Exchange policy is not a money-back program. The previous purchase is applied as in-store credit toward the reselection.
The reselected product must be of equal or greater value. Tempur-Pedic is exempt from the equal-or-greater-value requirement, but its comfort exchange remains in-store credit only with no money-back return.
$99 comfort exchange fee
A mandatory $99 comfort exchange fee applies. It may be paid in the store or on delivery.
Other shipping rates may apply for certain manufacturers.
Items excluded from comfort exchange
Special-order items, floor models, special sizes, and adjustable bases are excluded from the Comfort Exchange policy.
Adjustable bases are non-returnable.
